2.15 - How to check the balance of a bank account in the system
Entersoft OuroCash™ is an excellent tool to assist you in checking your bank accounts.
By the time you record your payments and receipts, the system automatically assembles a parallel of
each moved account, and you can get the updated balance of your accounts at any time.
To view the balances, simply follow the procedures below:
1) From the main system screen, click the "Accounts and Cards" option:
If you register all of your transactions correctly in Entersoft OuroCash™, the balance presented by the
system will be exactly the same as the one presented by your bank.
There are only four causes for the balance presented by the bank to be different from what is in the
system:
a) You forgot to register some transaction
b) You have registered one or more records with incorrect values
c) Some amount was lost from your bank account without your knowledge
d) An “error” occurred in the bank system
2) Select in the grid which bank account you want to get the balance:
3) Then click the "F6 - Account Balance" button, and the screen will be displayed below:
The "linked balance" field is used to display the amounts received through checks whose clearing has
not yet been recorded... That is, they are checks that have not yet been settled in the system.
To register the clearing of the check (settlement), you need to access the "Checks" module, locate the
document that is linked (pending) and click the "Pay" button.
If you click the "F7 - Consolidated Balance" option the system will display the sum of the balance of all
your bank accounts + wallet account.
Whatever the reason, just make a thorough conference and the error will be
found! And the facility to detect errors is the key point.
With Entersoft OuroCash ™ you can print a parallel extract of your bank
accounts, making your conference much easier.
Just select the account in the grid, and click the "F8 - Print bank statements"
button.
